Rice Cooker Chicken 自家煮之电饭煲焗鸡

                     It is very easy to cook the Hainanese chicken with a rice cooker.
Ingredients:kampong chicken  (about 700g net);
                    spring onion 1 pack, wash and cut into half
                    old ginger  4-5 slices;
                    red onion 1 pc  cut into pieces;
                    shaoxing wine 绍兴酒  3/4 cup and
                    salt 1 teaspoon
Method: 1. Clean the chicken, cut its head and feet if necessary.
               2. Rub the chicken with salt thoroughly, both the chicken skin and the cavity.
               3. Put the ginger slices into the chicken cavity.
               4. Put the spring onion, red onion into the rice cooker.
               5. Put the chicken on top of the onions.
               6. Pour the wine on the chicken.
               7. Press the 'COOK' button and start cooking for 30min.
               8. Switch the button to 'WARM' for 15min.
               9. Done, get the chicken out and let it cool down. 😋
Reminder:1.  Different rice cooker may have different electricity power, adjust the time accordingly.
                 2.  Large chicken needs a little bit  more salt and the cooking time will be longer.
                 3.  Remember to get the chicken out from the rice cooker once it's done, or otherwise, the remaining heat will overcook the chicken.
