                         It is the first re-bloom since I bought this cattleya 2 years ago.  A very attractive blooms, right?!

Home-made Rice Dumplings ( 粽子 )

               The dumplings I made are the Cantonese rice dumplings(广东肉粽), which is different from the Hokkien bakcang.  For Cantonese rice dumplings, we simply soak the glutinous rice in water before using, while the glutinous rice has been stir-fried before being wrapped for the Hokkien bakcang.

Dragon Boat Racing in Hong Kong

                     These photos were taken by the elder who just went to Hong Kong with his friends.  It's a 5-day free & easy trip.  They simply booked the hostel and budget air-tickets, got the luggage and flew....like the age when DH & I were young...hmm...I don't mean I'm old :)
