Giant Threadfin




Found 2 giant threadfins lying on the fish counter waiting to be cut.  They were really big!
This big fish is no good for stream but good for soup and porridge.
So I bought a big piece of meat. 
Simply marinade the fish slices in chinese cooking wine, lime juice or lemon juice (if you want to),soy sauce and pinch of salt for about 10 min, then add in the marinaded fish slices to the porridge or soup, add in ginger slices , chopped spring onion and coriander leaves to the porridge or soup, 
and you will have a very delicious dish.



SGD31.90/kg and this meat is about 1.5 kg, so can you imagine how big this fish was?
