Beware! I'm bragging ...

Digging my  treasure box, I found this 'antique'.  This camera, if  not the first, is one of the first autofocus (AF) compact manual cameras which was released in 1987.

Nikon AD3 AF with date back one-touch compact manual camera

A very thick date & time (Y-M-D & Hr-Min) adjustable display at the back cover.
BUT this was an advanced technology then!

the auto-loading and rewind film chamber

It's about 13cm long, actually quite big in size

The red light at the left is the timer indicator, ie we say 'cheese' when we see the red light flashing o-0
The 2 square 'eyes' above the lens are the infrared emitter and receiver, which is part of the AF system.
Then it comes the viewfinder and the flash is at the right.

Have a good  look at my teenage camera!  :)
